Veronica is originally from Tegucigalpa. She first arrived at Emmanuel in 1999 at the age of 13. She spent her youth growing up here at the orphanage, and later left to pursue life outside. In 2008, Veronica returned to work as a staff member here at Emmanuel. She primarily works in the Team House, preparing meals, caring for the building, and attending to the needs of our guests.

Santos and his daughter Allison returned to Emmanuel in 2014.  Santos and Veronica were married at Emmanuel in April 2016.  Santos is in charge of the ‘grandecitos’ and also works on the farm with the pigs and cows.
