Raleigh first came to Emmanuel in December of 2017 and came a few times after that to visit. After graduating in May of 2019, he came to the orphanage to serve as a volunteer for one year. But sometimes our plan doesn’t match God’s plan. After a year Raleigh felt God calling to serve long term here at the orphanage. He currently works in the school as the English teacher and in other areas around the orphanage. His favorite thing is spending one on one time with the kids and getting to know their stories and who they are. Raleigh’s favorite memories here are made when he spends time with his sponsor boy and his family.
