“Although my father and mother have forsaken me, the Lord with take me up”. – Psalm 27:10
Alexander (or ‘Pastor Banegas’) came to Emmanuel when he was only a few months old and has spent most of his life here. As a teenager he started to help with the younger children and with other tasks around the campus. In 2015, he left Emmanuel to attend Seminary in Siguatepeque, Honduras. Upon his graduation in 2016, he felt God calling him to return to Emmanuel to serve David and Lydia and the children of Emmanuel. He works as the staff member at the small boys house, helps to maintain the gardens and landscaping, and helps with teams by picking them up and overall needs while on the Emmanuel property. He also leads the afternoon Bible studies for the big boys and Discipleship.
