Christmas at Emmanuel starts early! It is a very busy couple of months of preparation to make sure the children have an amazing Christmas. It takes a lot of team work and it takes many people coming alongside us to make it happen! We are always working extra hard to make sure that no child is left out or forgotten.
One way to help is through our Christmas Program. As a church, small group, school group, or sports team, you can request a list of 30 names, and you will be responsible as a group for making each child on your list a gift for Christmas. If you are not able to commit to 30, you can request a group of 5, 10, 15 or however many you are able to commit to!
The second way to help is by sending extra items to help us fill gifts for the children who are short. You may send extra hygiene products, clothes, shoes, school supplies, toys, or anything else you feel that the children would like. We are thankful for items for children of all ages; however, the older boys and girls are usually the children who have the fewest gifts. We also have an Amazon Wish List that we are happy to share for you all and can use it on your social media or church/community newsletters!
Lastly, the third way to help is by sending supplies: wrapping paper, tape, scissors, permanent markers, pens, labels, boxes to use for rewrapping and making gifts.
