“Although my father and mother have forsaken me, the Lord with take me up”. – Psalm 27:10
We cannot believe it is already time to prepare for Christmas!! There are really no words to describe the beauty of Christmas morning here or the excitement that buzzes around Emmanuel as Christmas preparations begin. We are always working extra hard to make sure that no child is left out or forgotten. There is no help that is too big or too little!
One way to help is through our Christmas Program. As a church, small group, school group, or sports team, you can request a list of of 30 names, and you will be responsible as a group for making each child on your list a gift for Christmas. If you are interested in committing to a list of less than 30 names, we can send you a specialized list with the amount of names you request.
The second way you can help is by sending extra items to help us fill gifts for the children who are short. You may send extra clothes, shoes, school supplies, toys, or anything else you feel that the children would like. We are thankful for items for children of all ages; however, the older boys and girls are usually the children who have the fewest gifts. Check out our Amazon wishlist for more ideas and to be able to send extra gifts for the children in need.
Lastly, the third way to help is by sending supplies: wrapping paper, tape, scissors, permanent markers, pens, labels, and boxes to use for rewrapping and making gifts.
IMPORTANT:
No food, candy, or toiletries (deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, Body wash, body spray toothpaste, Perfume, Lipgloss, etc).
If you are interested in sending any of this items in bulk please contact containers to Emmanuel for details BEFORE purchasing. thank you. If you are interested in leading a group to participate in our Christmas Program or interested in any other way in being a part of Christmas at Orphanage Emmanuel, please email the office at volunteeremmanuel@gmail.com for necessary documents and information.
