“Although my father and mother have forsaken me, the Lord with take me up”. – Psalm 27:10
Richard and his wife, Joan, first visited Orphanage Emmanuel in 1996 while on a medical mission. They immediately fell in love with the missionaries and the children at the orphanage. Joan and Richard returned the next year with a team to do our first major construction project and have been taking construction and dental teams each year since then. They look forward to returning to the orphanage soon.
In addition to their team project each year, they ship containers of supplies from Chattanooga to the orphanage on a regular basis.
Richard and Joan have shared with us that they feel, “God has truly blessed us by allowing us to be a part of his work at Orphanage Emmanuel over the past 25 years.”
Orphanage Emmanuel is a ministry of Amor Cristiano International (US 501-c-3). Emmanuel is a Christian ministry whose vision is to evangelize and evangelize and disciple children so that they may grow up to be living lights and good examples in the ways of God.
