“Although my father and mother have forsaken me, the Lord with take me up”. – Psalm 27:10
Morgan came to Emmanuel for the first time as a short-term volunteer in 2013. She graduated from Lees-McRae college in North Carolina with a degree in Elementary Education. After working in public education for two years, Morgan felt like God was calling her to something better. She returned as a long-term volunteer in 2014, working in the power toddler house, helping with medicine, and in the school. She became staff in 2016 and is now in charge of the power toddler house and works in the office as the Team and Volunteer Coordinator as well as the Sponsorship Coordinator. Her favorite part about serving at Emmanuel is the family-like community that we have here and that every day is a different day that God uses to show her something new and exciting.
